Hey ladies. I need your help. I know a few of you have already advertised this site and I am so thankful for you girlies! But, I need some more help with promo! Seems like my contest isn’t even working. Who wouldn’t want 10 bars!? I don’t even know! Could you just pass the word to all your bloggie friends about this website and what it’s about
I know my other blog is relatively new…so I don’t really know as many *bloggers* as some of you!
Thanks so much!

Today is where your book begins~*
A little Friday inspiration! Pass it on!
I am unwritten, can’t read my mind, I’m undefined I’m just beginning, the pen’s in my hand, ending unplanned
Staring at the blank page before you
Open up the dirty window
Let the sun illuminate the words that you could not find
Reaching for something in the distance
So close you can almost taste it
Release your inhibitions
Feel the rain on your skin
No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in
No one else, no one else
Can speak the words on your lips
Drench yourself in words unspoken
Live your life with arms wide open
Today is where your book begins
The rest is still unwritten
Oh, oh, oh
I break tradition, sometimes my tries, are outside the lines
We’ve been conditioned to not make mistakes, but I can’t live that way
Staring at the blank page before you
Open up the dirty window
Let the sun illuminate the words that you could not find
Reaching for something in the distance
So close you can almost taste it
Release your inhibitions
Feel the rain on your skin
No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in
No one else, no one else
Can speak the words on your lips
Drench yourself in words unspoken
Live your life with arms wide open
Today is where your book begins
Feel the rain on your skin

Only you can let it in
No one else, no one else

Drench yourself in words unspoken

Make way world! Marilyn is rockin the b-word!

this past March I went to Jamaica with my two best friends. We decided to finally experience spring break since it was our senior year and our days as undergrads were flying by quickly. We had an incredible trip I’ll never forget. These 2 photos are from Margaritaville in Negril, taken on our last day before the flight home. I love the photo of my friend Amanda and I dancing, it really captures the free spirit of those days in the sun. I really like the one of me during sunset too – and for the record, only one of those drinks was mine! The brown & cream suit in the photos is my favorite. It’s a tankini top with brown shorts that I usually cover with a brown swim skirt (one step at a time – I may love this suit, but I’m still not ready to bear my thighs!) I’ve always been really uncomfortable on the beach, so the fact that I was able to let loose at least somewhat during this trip makes me proud. Next summer, bikini!

Girl you look amazing! We are all at different stages and whereever you are at is A ok with me!!! Love it! Thank you, for taking the time and sending that in!
Keep em comin
Shawn steps up to the plate!
Thank you Shawn for steppin up to the plate and comin out of the shadows! You and your mom are so beautiful rockin out those b words!
In Shawn’s words…
Ok, so it’s probably not fair to creep your blog if I don’t contribute. So this is me on the right in the dark blue and my mom on the left. And you know what, it’s not a great picture of me, I look pastey and windblown and a little bit squinty. I do like the suit though, it’s plain and a little retro with the wide straps. If I had a frilly white swimp cap, I’d be all set! What I do remember is how I felt when this picture was taken. It was the first day of our trip to the Bahamas and I had worked my butt off to lose 20 pounds before we left and I just felt fabulous. I really wanted to have my picture taken in my bathing suit, for the first time in ages. My mom looks pretty good too!
I love the idea of your blog, I can’t wait to see who else steps up!

LOVE IT…
Keep sendin these in
10 bars for lucky number 10
I didn’t think it would come down to this. I’v had sooo many page views the last few days. But I guess people are not ready to expose their beautiful bathing suit clad bodies! And that is fine. But guess what? Now there is a twist.
The 10th person to send me in a photo entry with a little blurb along with it (Like Jenny) Will win 10 bars! (hey! I think Jenny should get something for being the FIRST brave soul!) Jenny we shall talk
Who knows…I’v also been known to add in some fun *extra* things to my packages…

Don’t worry…it won’t just be lara. I have some amazing Canadian bars that I bet some american bloggers would love to get their hands on
I really just want to get the ball rollin here prettys. So send away! projectbword@gmail.com… Don’t be shy!
Men like to flaunt their B Word too!
Meet Lee.

In his own words!
I don’t really consider myself to be confident or unconfident, but I do know that I like to be comfortable, and never really care what other people think about how I look. Nobody goes to the beach to stare at other people (outside of the creepy old perv that every beach has) and if the 400lb guy in a pink speedo can be comfortable, then so can I. Enjoy life.
Well..guys!? What are you waiting for..send me your pics! (Sometimes, I love my job) Just kidding Lee. I love you! (Lee is my man, if you couldn’t tell already) muahaha.
What do you think ladies? Do some guys seem overly cocky in their bwords? Or do you think, underneath it all…they too feel their flaws hangout!

J is for Jenny! R is for the way she ROCKS it!
Our first brave entry comes from Jenny who runs the peanutbutter and Jennys blog! (I LOVE her blog by the way!)
In Jenny’s words,
Hey Jocelyn!
It’s Jenny from http://peanutbutterandjennys.blogspot.com/ . I have to tell you I am in love with your project B movement! I’ll be honest, I was never one who was comfortable in a bathing suit.. even when I was at my thinnest weight! I’ve come to terms with the fact that I do NOT have a bikini body .. i have wide hips and a lower belly pooch that won’t go away if i do crunches ’til the cows go home! Thats why i really love my yellow bathing suit! I hate how people seem to have warded off one pieces and believe the only way to look sexy is if you’re rockin’ a bikini! Wrong-o! I am a firm believer that any girl can look hot in whatever she’s wearing as long as she’s confident and comfortable! So for me, i’m very sexure in this bathing suit — i love the color and i can weard it proudly without feeling insecure that my bellys stickin’ out
!
Jenny acually wrote a post awhile back on the pressures of bathing suit season! Please check it out!
Jenny rocks her bathing suit!

Thanks for being the first brave soul to send me an entry!
Please send your picture entries, comments, questions, bathing suit body fitness suggestions/workouts/tips, bathing suit fashion tips, and ANYTHING else to projectbword@gmail.com
B is for beautiful (it’s also for bathing suit!)
Hi Ladies! (and perhaps gents as well!)
I took some inspiration from the blog world the past few weeks and have been itching to start something like this. I have seen girls all across blog land talk about a little something called bikini confidence. I was thinking… bikini confidence? Jeeze, I wish I had plain old BATHING SUIT confidence. Am I right? There are some of us who have been struggling for years with the woes of obesity and weight loss, and all of the things that comes along with losing a ton of weight (stretch marks anyone?)
Lets be real. Not everyone can look like this…

If I looked like Pamela Anderson in a bathing suit. I would damn well show my body off. But guess what? I’m not Pamela Anderson, nor do I rock a baywatch body!
I am me. I have lost 40 pounds this past year and have battle scars to prove it.
I just want this to be a place where girls of ALL sizes can display their proud selves in any bathing suit! Bikini, tankini, one piece, TENT…I don’t care. And if you are not ready to do so that is alright! This will also be a place to discuss fitness (for getting into those bathing suits and lookin fine!) Learning how to gain some self confidence, goal setting, and more!
Our first project will be to simply send a picture of yourself in a bathing suit and a little blurb telling me why you like the picture and what about that picture makes you proud! All Entries will be displayed on this blog!
Please send these entries too…
projectbword@gmail.com
Also, if you could add this to your blogroll..or get the word out! I would love for girls of ALL sizes to be loud and proud and use this as an outlet!
p.s if anyone can help me out with a layout/custom header.. please let me know? I’m such a newb!
