this past March I went to Jamaica with my two best friends. We decided to finally experience spring break since it was our senior year and our days as undergrads were flying by quickly. We had an incredible trip I’ll never forget. These 2 photos are from Margaritaville in Negril, taken on our last day before the flight home. I love the photo of my friend Amanda and I dancing, it really captures the free spirit of those days in the sun. I really like the one of me during sunset too – and for the record, only one of those drinks was mine! The brown & cream suit in the photos is my favorite. It’s a tankini top with brown shorts that I usually cover with a brown swim skirt (one step at a time – I may love this suit, but I’m still not ready to bear my thighs!) I’ve always been really uncomfortable on the beach, so the fact that I was able to let loose at least somewhat during this trip makes me proud. Next summer, bikini! ;)

I went to Jamaica last summer and loved it. We had to stay in safe and sound in a compound but I swear I have never tanned to well in my life!!

I love that suit! The neckline is great on you. And swim skirts are a great invention!

the print on that bathing suit is gorgeous! and i agree with Shawn — the neckline is very flattering! shows off your beautiful broad shoulders :) I love halter tops!

Thanks, Shawn and Jenny! You guys are so sweet :)
(P.S. Shawn: They definitely are. As someone who carries most of my weight on my bottom half, I don’t think I’d ever see the beach if it weren’t for a good swim skirt!)
